The viral Beat Saber clip by @_lyraaaa_ used connectome-generated movement with replay-assisted training on one track. The author's exact model and trained parameters were not located in public sources.
This game runs 65,799 traced neurons and 1,967,771 connections from the public MaleCNS v1.0 optic-circuit extraction. A browser worker evolves a simplified recurrent rate model over those real connections. It is a circuit subset, not an emulation of an entire living fly.
Visible targets become artificial brightness inputs to the L1–L3 optic relay cells. Activity passes through the measured network. A custom spatial readout steers the cursor; a game-clock gate times taps. This adapter is engineered for the game, not a discovered biological ability. The measured circuit stays fixed. A separate aim decoder learns from successful human hits and is promoted only after held-out validation. No original Beat Saber weights are used.
The circuit loads when a session starts (about 25 MB). Human controls still work if it cannot load, but those hits cannot train the fly.
